Meet My ROOMIES!

This is Jen. She's not just the typical tall hot blond. She is really busy with soroity stuff sometimes and we miss her. Right now the poor girl feels sick and I feel bad. Jen like's snowboarding and is always up for a good dance party in the living room when we have wine nights. We are failing bio together. She's a pyshc major and she can pretty much read your mind. Keep smiling Jen and feel better.

This is Steph. She likes to pretend she's a dirty pirate hooker. She's never afraid to be herself and sponatneously yells about things she's excited about. We have good convos in our living room that usually end up with one of hysterically laughing. She could watch Finding Nemo everday and probably not get sick of it. Jack is her squishy and they are quite possibly the cutest thing ever. Basically Steph should one day be model. Keep that face in mind and you know you'll see it sometime in the future.

This is Stacey. She's my wine buddy. She likes art and never fails to find design flaws in anything and everything she sees. She's pretty much paranoid that everything is always gonna go wrong...but that's why I'm here to lighten up her pessimistic views. Stacey's the mom and rarely a day goes by without one of us refering to her as mommy Stacey. Stacey and I like to make barfing noises to things we don't like and make it sound like Chunk from the Goonies. Careful boys she's taken at the moment. She's gorgeous, tall and skinny and always up for a good convo about the most random things.

This is Tannah she's not really my roomate but she was last year. She's more of an honorary roomate and she uses that futon in our livingroom more than anyone else. She likes beer, pizza, and bagels. She likes to laugh at my stupidity and I at hers so it's all good. I don't see enough of her anymore but this weekend she'll be around and by around I mean not really mentally there but at least she'll be here in costume. YOU AND YOUR PIZZABAGELS!

These our our pumpkins! From left to right...Stacey, Steph, Me, Jen. HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone...well almost.

Sweet call of the countryside...october road

It's so beautiful here in the fall...I don't think people who live here realize that but it is. I went home thursday to let my doggies out since the fam is all out west and I grabbed a cherry soda and walked around the yard while the dogs ran around, they were so happy to see me. Eventually I found myself sitting on this bench that looks out across this hills and rusty came to sit with me. There was a hawk just soaring around and it smelled like fall...you know that cold crisp smell...i love it. I'm at such a good place right now and while sometimes life's hard I'm so blessed what is there really to complain about.
We had a wine night here last night just the roomies and T it was fabulous. It turned into a dance party and of course I had to whip out the lawnmower. What is it about dancing that just so freeing:). Tonight we are going to see Jason Mraz should be a good time. oodles of Smiles:) Posted by Picasa

I love fall

This weekend was just what I needed...a nice mix of parties and movies and food. Afterall food is half the reason for living. Stacey and I did make our way out to Renniger's and got a lot of veggies for about 12 bucks what a deal. It's times like those when you really feel like you live in the country. My week to do dishes ahhh and I have a ton of work ahead of me so I'm gonna rest up. Missing my west coast family a lot today.

Friday the 13th

Well I had this blog all planned out to write today since I haven't had time since the last one. I went home yesterday to let my doggies out and do some laundry because what's a weekend without clean clothes. Driving and taking pictures turned out to not be such a good idea...don't worry mom I'm ok...i know you were worried for a minute there. I got some gorgeous shots though and I will post them tomorrow. Tannah and I studied for art history for 3 hours last night and we became so delusional I don't know how Stacey put up with us. I think I'll at least pull off a C... but seriously if I studied for 4 hours for this test and went to all but one class you'd think I'd be able to do better but Morris Perinchief is a sneaky little bastard with those mutiple choice questions.
Now if you ever want to read and incredibly hilarious blog head on over to the one and only John Mayer's website you will get a good laugh at pranks he and sheryl Crow played on eachother during tour and an interesting article on zombies...too funny really.
Here's to friday the 13th and all the bad or good luck it decides to throw my way. I'm gonna make the best of it because the rest of the weekend will be filled with work. Carpe Diem!
Off to Rennigers with Stacer to get some veggies and see some amish wooohooo.
Peace&Love

It's already Wednesday

My day started off with an intense discussion about Gulliver's Travels in my lit class which led to a philosophical struggle in my mind about what happens after you die. I spent the rest of the class forcing my mind to think of superficial things to almost bring my soul back to my body if that makes any sense......coincidently I just saw a commercial for 6 feet under (shout out to Tannah for getting me hooked on that show) saying "why do we have to die" in which Nate replied "to make life worth living"... so as my day went on as I recovered from my philosophical trauma something in each class would spark a thought that led me back down that road....but alas the physical world and superficial tendencies of humans has put me at ease. These things include but are not limited to: TV specifically lost, reading pink is the new blog, chatting with Stacey, and going to the gym with Jen.
I'm missing my sister and the west coast today after having this semi-freakout I'm realizing how short life is and how much I want to spend time with my family. Ok so this was definitely a heavy post I'll keep it light next time.

Photoshoot

Ok this is from last week for a project that my roomate Stacey has for her advertising class (i think) The whole idea is that Stacey is the photographer and Steph is the model...but the ad is for Stacey's clothes. It has a cool tag line too but I can't remember it at the moment... but Stacey's a genius and that's all that matters. It was fun to get out and take some photos it's been too long since I've picked up a camera!I know what you are wondering how did i end up with such gorgeous roomates.... I don't know but I luv um. Alright off to finish some art schtuff....

And so it begins.....

So I'm joining the blogging world.... thought it would be an interesting way to document my day to day life....although it will probably include more picutres than words. So here it goes.....

Last Friday was my parents 21st wedding anniversary.Aren't they cute!

So strangely enough my mom and I spent their anniversary weekend together in a little town called centerville, outisde of saratoga springs, NY.

Barb and Bill's house we stayed at.

Front door.

Pool.The Lake.
Barb holding blosoom. Mom. Bill.Me.Mum.

Waterfall on the way out of town.
My mom has a thing for covered bridges :)

That was basically the jist of the trip...with a trip to the urgent care room to see if i had strep and some antiquing and a lot of good food. Going back to school tomorrow...sounds like my roomies had a blast without me so I'm eager to go back plus I bought treats for our house. Thanks for reading:)
